About Me

Dr. Shedel Williams is a board-certified Doctor of Physical Therapy with over seven years of experience across various Physical Therapy settings. She specializes in pain relief through hands-on techniques such as Dry Needling. Most of her career was dedicated to The Heart And Vascular Institute at Memorial Hermann Hospital where she served as an Intensive Care Unit PT. Dr. Williams was also a first responder to COVID-19 by developing rehabilitation programs for centers housing people devastated by Coronavirus. 

 

As a New Orleans native, she graduated from Edna Karr High School and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree, in Kinesiology, from Louisiana State University. She began her doctoral studies at The University of Alabama at Birmingham and finished the program in 2014. Shortly after, Dr. Williams started her career in Houston, Texas.
